Shaped like an acorn, this little squash loves long soaks in the crock pot and makes a great side dish on cold, winter nights.

1 acorn squash
Butter to taste
1. After rinsing, place the whole squash in a slow cooker.
2. Cover. Cook on Low for 8-10 hours.
3. Split in half and remove seeds.
4. Sprinkle each half with the salt and cinnamon and dot with the butter.
5. Serve warm.
